I am a student in the bridgen burough and i would like to say that welsh is my firdt language. In fact my welsh speaking is much better than my english my spelling the same. And some times i say a sentence in english and say a welsh word and i dont konw what the english word is. All my lessons are taught in the welsh language exept for english

Having left Wales in 1962 to join the RAF my biggest regret is that whatever Welsh I learned in school is now long forgotten. However, over the past year I have started writing an anecdotal look back to my development in and around Ponty and Treforest. The book is called “Life is nothing but a Smacked Arse” and is about the lessons in life that I learned then and continue to learn today. In some of the chapters I have wished to use some of my own language and it is sites like this that will help me. It is a few years since a last looked at the site and am really impressed with it.
